The image of wheat on these earrings are an original design, sawn out of sheet metal by hand, and soldered to another layer of hand-hammered metal on the back where the earwire is attched with a leaf shape. This gives these earrings a reversible quality so they may be worn in either direction. There is no etching, stamping, pressing, or casting involved in achieving the intricacies in this tiny image to remind you of beautiful Vermont. Although this design is repeated, the process in creating the image is what gives this a one-of-a-kind quality and makes each pair unique. These earrings are made of pure copper with sterling silver earwires.
Copper Crescent Wheat Earrings - Small - Wholesale
Materials: Copper, sterling silver
Size: Crescent shape measures approximately 1 1/8" across, earring measures approximately 1 1/2" from top to bottom.
Care Instructions: These earrings are sealed with Rennaisance Wax, which makes them resistant to tarnish for a time, but because of the nature of copper, it does tarnish and needs to be maintained. This can easily be done with a simple jewelry polishing cloth, or your favorite silver/brass/copper cleaner for tougher jobs. I like Weiman (R) Silver Wipes. Also 600 grit sandpaper will buff out tarnish nicely.
