The image of wheat on this necklace is an original design, sawn out of sheet metal by hand, and soldered to another layer of hand-hammered metal on the back. There is no etching, stamping, pressing, or casting involved in achieving the intricacies in this tiny image to remind you of beautiful Vermont. Although this design is repeated, the process in creating the image is what gives this a one-of-a-kind quality and makes each pair unique. This necklace is made of pure copper with an adjustable sterling silver chain and handmade clasp.
Copper Crescent Wheat Necklace - Small - Made to Order
Materials: Copper, sterling silver
Size: Cresecnt shape measures approximately 1 1/8" across, chain can be adjusted to 16", 18", or 20".
Care Instructions: This necklace is sealed with Rennaisance Wax, which makes them resistant to tarnish for a time, but because of the nature of copper, it does tarnish and needs to be maintained. This can easily be done with a simple jewelry polishing cloth, or your favorite silver/brass/copper cleaner for tougher jobs. I like Weiman (R) Silver Wipes. Also 600 grit sandpaper will buff out tarnish nicely.
